Here I offer you a small taste of this wonderful book in the form of one relatively simple craft and one recipe.

Magickal House Scroll
You will need:
  one 4 inch test tube
  20 gauge wire
  beads
  needle nose pliers
  glue
  paper and pen

1.  Twist a small loop into one end of a 26
inch piece of 20 gauge wire.

2.  Spiral loops of wire around the body of
the test tube to make a spiraling coil.

3.  Remove the test tube then thread beads onto the wire until the coil is completely filled with beads.

4.  Finish off the beaded spiral with a second small loop of wire at the top.

5.  Place the test tube inside the beaded spiral then tighten the bottom loop of the coil so it makes a floor to hold the test tube in place.  Stretch out the coil so it covers the test tube completely.

6.  Twist a 2-inch length of wire into 4 small loops to make a little four-leaf clover shape.  Hang the "clover" from the bottom loop of the beaded coil.

7.  Use a small piece of wire to add a bead and a small spiral of wire to the bottom loop of the clover.

8.  Glue some beads and a little twist of wire on the test tube lid for decoration.

9.  Cut and roll a strip of paper to fit inside the tube.  On it, write a prayer, poem, or spell that welcomes loving energy into your home and your life.  Do this with great intent, visualizing your prayer attained.  You might like something like this.

May peace prevail in my heart
May peace prevail in our home
May peace prevail on Earth

10.          Roll up the scroll and place it in the tube.  Use the top loop to hang this magickal house blessing by your front door or any other entryway to your house.

Honeyed Whipped Cream
As if homemade whipped cream wasn't special enough - this topping is a dessert in itself!  Serve it on melon sorbet or warm muffins (see Magickal Crafts for both recipes) or simply dip fresh fruit into it  Yummm!

You will need
  2 ounces cream cheese
  2 tablespoons honey
  1/2 cup whipped cream
  wire whisk

1.   Whisk cream cheese and honey together until smooth.

2.   Fold in the whipped cream and serve.
